About the car: Audi Q7 4L (first generation, pre-facelift)

The Audi Q7 4L is the first generation of the Q7, internal code 4L, built from November 2005 to 2015 on the Volkswagen Group PL71 platform. The body is a 5-door SUV. The facelift was presented in 2009, at Pebble Beach, with headlights and tail lights with more LEDs.

The car in this fitting has headlights without an LED strip, so it is the pre-facelift version. The roof rails of the 4L are raised, and the roof bars attach to them, with the box fitted on the roof bars.

The Menabo Lince Silver XL are 1,350 mm long, 30 mm high and 80 mm wide. They have a maximum load of 90 kg, a 20 mm T-track and locks. The set includes 2 aluminium bars, 4 fittings, 4 locks, the keys and the Allen key.

The Menabo Diamond 500 White has 500 litres of volume, carries 75 kg and fixes with the 20 mm T Quick Fix system, included in the pack. It is white, opens on one side and has an integrated lock.

Technical details and what to watch for

• The Menabo Lince Silver XL bars carry 90 kg, and the Diamond 500 White box carries 75 kg of luggage.
• The weight of the box, 19.6 kg, is deducted from the capacity of the bars: of the 90 kg, about 70 kg remain for luggage, and the box carries a maximum of 75 kg of luggage.
