About the car: Ford Mondeo IV saloon, fourth generation (CD391)

The Ford Mondeo IV, known internally as CD391, is the fourth generation of the Mondeo. The car was built on a new iteration of the Ford C/D platform, and production ran in Spain from August 2014 to March 2022. In Europe the model appeared in October 2014, and the 4-door body is the saloon.

The 4-door saloon has no factory-fitted roof rails on the roof. That is why the roof bars are fixed directly onto the bodywork, with dedicated fittings, and accessories such as bike racks or roof boxes are then fitted onto the bars. For this body it matters to choose the kit made for the 4-door saloon, not for the estate or the liftback.

What we fitted on this Ford Mondeo IV

We fitted the Menabo Tema Aluminium roof bars for Ford Mondeo IV, 4-door, 2014+. They are made of aluminium, with an oval, aerodynamic profile, silver in colour, 1,300 mm long, 30 mm high and 48 mm wide. All the metal parts have a rubberised coating and corrosion protection.

The top of the bars has a 20 mm T-track for T-track fitting accessories, such as bike racks, roof boxes or ski racks. If the accessory does not have a T-track fitting, you can use the U-bolt fitting around the outside of the roof bar. The kit contains 2 bars, 4 fittings, 4 feet, 4 locks with keys and an Allen key.
