We fitted a set of Menabo Delta Black roof bars on a Honda HR-V II, 5-door, 2015+, in our SuportBicicleta.ro showroom at Drumul Lunca Corbului 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania.

About the car: Honda HR-V II, 2015+

The second-generation Honda HR-V, with the codes RU1-RU5, was built from December 2013 to 2022. It was launched in Europe in September 2015, with models brought from Mexico and Japan. It is a 5-door SUV, and the facelift was presented in Japan on 25 January 2018.

The Delta Black set is designed for cars that have no factory roof rails, so it fits directly onto the roof, with the system made for the model. Some top versions of the HR-V have a glass panoramic roof, so before ordering, confirm that the fitting set is the right one for your car.

Technical details and what to watch for

Specifications: black aluminium, length 1,370 mm, height 30 mm, width 60 mm, maximum load 50 kg, TÜV and ISO tested.
The set includes 4 locks with keys, so you can protect the roof bars with them when you make a stop.
The weight of the accessory is deducted from the 50 kg of the set. If you fit a bike rack or a roof box, you are left with less for luggage.
The instruction manual is included in the box.
The height of the car increases with the roof bars and the accessory fitted on top. Check the total height before a journey or before garages with a low barrier.
After fitting, check that the fixings are tight before every journey, especially after the first kilometres.
