About the car: Hyundai Elantra 6th generation (AD)
The 6th-generation Hyundai Elantra, code AD, was built between 2015 and 2020 and was offered only as a 4-door saloon. It was launched in September 2015 in South Korea, where the car was called the Avante. The roof shape and pentagonal headlights gave it a fastback look.
The roof of this generation has no factory roof rails, so the Delta bars are fitted directly to the body with a dedicated fitting kit. That means the set does not depend on factory roof rails. The facelift launched in South Korea on 6 September 2018 changed the rear of the car.
What we fitted on this Elantra
The set is Menabo Delta Silver for the Hyundai Elantra VI (AD), 4-door, 2016+, with 2 aluminium bars, 4 feet, 4 fixings and 4 locks with keys. The bars are 1,370 mm long, 30 mm high and 60 mm wide, and the Allen key in the package is the only tool needed.
On top, the bars have a 20 mm channel, so accessories with a T-track fitting fix straight into the channel. With the U-bolt fitting you can clamp accessories on the outside of the bar. The set has a maximum load of 50 kg, is TÜV and ISO approved and weighs 5.6 kg.
