About the car: Hyundai i20 BC3, from 2020
The BC3 generation of the Hyundai i20 has been built for Europe since August 2020 at the Izmit plant in Turkey, and comes only as a 5-door hatchback. The model received a facelift presented on 10 May 2023.
The roof has no factory roof rails, so the Delta bars fit directly onto the roof, with a vehicle-specific fitting kit for the 5-door version. The BC3 manual (2021 edition) gives 70 kg on the roof bars, spread evenly, but for the Delta Black the limit that counts is that of the bars, 50 kg.
What we fitted on this Hyundai i20
We fitted the Menabo Delta Black roof bars for the Hyundai i20 (BC3), 5-door, 2020+ model. The bars are 1,370 mm long, 30 mm high and 60 mm wide, made of black aluminium. The set weighs 5.6 kg and includes 2 roof bars, 4 feet, 4 fitting kits, 4 locks with keys and an Allen key.
The Delta has a 20 mm T-track on top, so accessories with T-bolt fittings fix straight into the track. If an accessory only has a U-bolt fitting, it is fitted around the outside of the bar.
