The Hyundai ix35 is the name under which the 2nd generation of the Tucson, with project code LM, was sold outside South Korea and North America; it was produced between 2009 and 2015. We fitted the the Menabo Marathon Dark 400 roof box, with a volume of 400 litres, matt black, made of ABS, weighing 13.2 kg itself. The box gives you room for luggage, and the maximum load is 50 kg.
The box comes with a 60 mm U-bolt fitting and a 20 mm T-bolt fitting included, so it fits roof bars with either of the two systems. It has a lock and opens on one side. It is compatible with Menabo, Thule, Yakima and K39 roof bars, without an adapter.
