Menabo Tema roof bars on Kia Ceed CD 5-door hatchback, fitted in our shop

We fitted a set of Menabo Tema roof bars on a Kia Ceed 5-door hatchback in the SuportBicicleta.ro shop in Drumul Lunca Corbului 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania.

About the car: Kia Ceed hatchback, 3rd generation (CD)

The 5-door Kia Ceed hatchback of the third generation, with the internal code CD, was produced between May 2018 and January 2026. The car in the fitting has a roof without factory roof rails, so the Menabo Tema roof bars sit on feet attached to the door frame, directly on the body.

Why the roof type matters: without roof rails, the roof bars are the only link between the roof and the accessories. The feet must be fitted correctly, and the total weight (luggage, box, bike rack) must stay below 75 kg. Before fitting, also check whether your car has a panoramic sunroof, because the set in this fitting is for the version without a sunroof.

What we fitted on this Kia Ceed hatchback

The set is Menabo Tema Aluminium roof bars for Kia Cee'D (CD) without sunroof. It has two aluminium bars of 1,120 mm with an oval, aerodynamic profile, four feet, four fittings and four locks with keys. The roof bars have a rubberised coating and anti-corrosion protection.

The top of the bars has a 20 mm T-track. Accessories with T-bolt fittings, such as roof boxes, bike racks, ski racks or kayak racks, are fixed in the track, and those without T-bolt fittings can be fitted with U-bolts around the outside of the bar. The instruction manual is included in the box.
