About the car: Mazda 3 BP Hatchback (2019+)
The fourth-generation Mazda 3 has the code BP and has been built since 2019, on the Skyactiv Small Product Group platform. The model reached Europe in March 2019, in two body styles: a 5-door hatchback and a 4-door saloon. This fitting is on the 5-door version, which the bar fitting kit is made for.
The Mazda 3 BP has no roof rails, so the roof bars fit on the bodywork, with dedicated fittings. Mazda offers genuine roof bars separately for the hatchback and for the saloon. The Mazda UK specification guide from September 2025 gives a maximum roof load of 75 kg for the Mazda3 Hatchback.

The Menabo Tema Steel roof bars are among the established products of the Italian maker. They have an oval, aerodynamic profile, 48 mm wide and 30 mm high, they are made of steel, and the metal parts are treated with rubberised paint and anti-corrosion coating. The bars are wrapped in a protective plastic layer and carry TÜV and ISO approval.
Unlike bars with a T-track, the Tema Steel has no T-track on the top: accessories attach with U-bolts on the outside of the bar. You can fit a bike rack, roof box, ski rack or kayak carrier on them, if they have this type of fitting. The set contains 2 steel bars, 4 feet, 4 fitting kits for the 5-door Mazda 3 BP, 4 anti-theft locks with keys and the hex key.
