The Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 is the third-generation C-Class. The 4-door saloon was built from March 2007 to March 2014, and in 2011, at the Detroit Auto Show, Mercedes officially presented the facelift version. The generation also included the S204 estate and the C204 Coupé.

For roof bars, the important detail is the roof. The W204 saloon has no roof rails, but fixed anchor points under covers, and the Mercedes-Benz manual says the bars attach only there. The covers must not be opened with metal or hard objects. The maximum roof load is 100 kg, and after fitting, the sunroof, the panoramic roof and the boot must still open fully. On this W204 we fitted the Menabo Tema Steel roof bars for Mercedes C (W204), 4-door, 2007-2013. Over the years the Tema range has remained an established product of the Italian maker Menabo. The steel bars have an oval, aerodynamic profile of 30 x 48 mm, for lower air resistance, and are covered with a protective plastic layer.

The set has 2 bars of 1,120 mm, 4 feet, 4 fitting kits for the W204, 4 lock cylinders with keys and an Allen key, with no other tools needed. The metal parts are treated with rubberised anti-corrosion paint, and the bars are TÜV and ISO approved. You can fit bike racks, roof boxes, ski racks or kayak carriers on them, all with a U-bolt fitting on the outside of the bar.
