About the car: Mercedes E W211

The Mercedes E W211 was produced as a saloon from January 2002 to April 2009, and the S211 estate from February 2002 to June 2009. In 2006 it received a facelift for model year 2007, with a new grille and front bumper. The body code is W211 for the saloon and S211 for the estate.

The W211 saloon has no factory roof rails, so the roof bars attach directly to the bodywork, with a kit made for the car. In the photo of the fitting, the black saloon has a roof without roof rails, and the silver bars are fixed on feet attached to the bodywork. For Delta Silver, the fitting kit must match the 4-door version exactly.

What we fitted on this Mercedes E W211

The fitted set is Menabo Delta Silver roof bars for the Mercedes E (W211), 4-door, 2002-2009 model. The bars are made of aluminium, 1,190 mm long, 30 mm high and 60 mm wide. The package includes 2 bars, 4 feet, 4 fittings, 4 locks with keys and an Allen key.

The bars have a 20 mm T-track on top, so accessories with T-bolt fittings fix directly into the track. If accessories do not have a T-bolt fitting, you can use the U-bolt fitting around the outside of the bar. You can fit bike racks, roof boxes, ski and snowboard racks or kayak and canoe carriers on the bars.
