About the car: Mercedes-Benz GLC X253
The GLC X253 is the first generation of the Mercedes GLC, with the code X253 for the SUV and C253 for the GLC Coupé. It was built between 2015 and 2022 on the MRA platform and was offered as a 5-door SUV or a 5-door coupé SUV. In 2019, at the Geneva Motor Show, the facelift was presented as a 2020 model.
In the photos of this post, the roof rails are silver, integrated and flush with the roof, and the main photo shows headlights separate from the grille, typical of the pre-facelift X253. The box fixes to the roof bars, not directly to the roof. Before fitting, check that the roof bar set is compatible with the roof rails of the car.
