About the car: Nissan Juke F15 (2010-2019)

The first-generation Nissan Juke, code F15, was built from June 2010 to 2019. It is a 5-door SUV on the Nissan B platform. In 2014 it received a facelift, shown at the Geneva Motor Show, with L-shaped LED daytime running lights and new bumpers, on sale from summer 2014.

For roof bars, the way they attach to the car matters. Menabo Tema bars suit cars without roof rails, because they fit directly on the body. The weight of the box and the luggage counts towards the load on the bars, which is 50 kg per set, so work out the total before you set off.

What we fitted on this Nissan Juke

The roof bars are Menabo Tema Steel roof bars for Nissan Juke, 5-door, 2010-2019. They are 1,300 mm long, made of steel with an oval profile, and lockable. The set includes 2 bars, 4 fixing systems, 4 feet and keys.

On them we fixed Carbon Look 320L roof box, with a volume of 320 litres, in matt black with a carbon texture. The fitting is an 80 mm U-bolt type, and the box is lockable and opens on one side.

Technical details and what to watch for

• Menabo Tema bars: length 1,300 mm, height 30 mm, width 48 mm, steel with a rubberised coating and anti-corrosion protection, maximum load 50 kg.
• Carbon Look box: 320 litres, maximum load 55 kg, length 131 cm, height 34 cm, opens on one side.
• Compatibility: the Carbon Look box also fits K39 - K1 bars in steel or aluminium, Menabo Omega and Thule Wingbar, among others.
• The weight of the box plus the luggage must stay below 50 kg, the maximum load of the Tema bars.
• Fitting: the instruction manual is included in the pack. The maximum load may differ depending on the car, so check the specifications from the car maker. For the Carbon Look box, you will find the fitting instructions below as a PDF.
• Tip: the box is 34 cm high. Check the total height of the car with the bars and the box fitted before you drive into a garage.
