The Renault Laguna III, code X91, went on sale in October 2007 as a 2008 model, and production continued until March 2015. The model was offered as a 5-door hatchback, a 5-door estate and, for the first time, a 2-door coupe. The generation also received a Phase 2 version, launched at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, with sales from November 2010.
The hatchback has no factory roof rails, so the roof bars attach to the bodywork, not to roof rails. This is why the type of fitting matters: the K39 set is fixed with the fitting kit made for the car, and accessories attach to the bar with a U-bolt system, because the bars have no T-track.

The K39 steel roof bar set for Renault Laguna III, 2008+ is made of hard steel, with a protective plastic layer on the bars and metal parts coated with a rubberised coating for protection against corrosion.
The set includes 2 roof bars, 4 fittings, 4 feet and an Allen key. The bars have no T-track on top and no lock, so accessories can only be fitted with a classic U-bolt system of at least 30 mm, around the outside of the bar.
For a bike rack, a roof box or a ski rack, check before buying that they have a U-bolt system of at least 30 mm. The instruction manual is included in the box.

- Maximum load: 55 kg. From this figure you deduct the weight of the accessory and of the luggage. For example, a 5 kg rack and 20 kg of luggage make 25 kg out of the 55 kg.
- The bars have no T-track on top, so accessories do not attach with the T-bolt system but with a U-bolt system of at least 30 mm.
- The set has no lock, so the bars cannot be locked to the car.
