About the car: Skoda Kodiaq, first generation

The first-generation Skoda Kodiaq was built from October 2016 to 2024, with the first deliveries in February 2017. It has the model codes NS7, NV7 and NS6, uses the Volkswagen MQB A2 platform and has a 5-door SUV body, with 5 or 7 seats. The facelift was launched in April 2021.

The first-generation Kodiaq, in both the pre-facelift and the facelift version, has raised roof rails on the roof, and the roof bars are fitted on them. The Skoda data sheet gives a maximum roof load of 75 kg, so the box and the roof bars fitted together must stay within this limit.
