About the car: Suzuki SX4 S-Cross JY (2013-2021)
The JY generation of the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013 and went on sale in Europe in the autumn of 2013. The car is 4,300 mm long, comes in a single body style, a 5-door SUV, and was built in Hungary until 2021. In September 2016 it received a facelift with a new front end and new rear lights, and Menabo has separate kits for 2013-2016 and 2016+.
On the roof, the S-Cross cars that reach us have raised roof rails, and the roof bars attach directly to them. The Suzuki manual (2019 edition, page 5-20) gives 75 kg on the roof rails and 50 kg on the version with anchor points. The figure comes from the post-facelift manual; for 2013-2016 cars we do not have a separate verified manual. The same manual gives a maximum nose weight of 75 kg in the EU, useful if you are also thinking of a towbar bike rack.
What we fitted on this Suzuki SX4 S-Cross
We chose Menabo Leopard Black roof bars for Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 2013-2016, an aluminium set with an aerodynamic wing profile, 80 mm wide and 30 mm high. Their shape reduces noise and drag, and the 20 mm channel along the whole length of the bar takes T-bolt accessories.
The bars suit roof boxes, bike racks, ski racks and kayak or canoe carriers. The set comes with locks and is approved to TÜV and ISO/PAS 11154:2006.

- Height: any accessory fitted on the bars raises the total height of the car; check the garage or underground car park before your first trip.
