On a first-generation Suzuki SX4 (GY) with raised roof rails, we fitted a 400 L Menabo Marathon Dark roof box, in matt black. We did the fitting in the SuportBicicleta.ro showroom.

About the car: Suzuki SX4 first generation (GY)
The first-generation Suzuki SX4 appeared in 2006, under the code GY, and grew out of a joint development agreement between Suzuki and Fiat signed in April 2003. For Europe, the car was built by Magyar Suzuki in Esztergom, Hungary, between December 2005 and 2013, based on the Suzuki Swift, and it had a rebadged twin, the Fiat Sedici. The first generation was offered as a hatchback, with front-wheel drive or 4x4, and as a saloon.

What we fitted on this Suzuki SX4
On the roof of the SX4 we put the Menabo Marathon Dark 400 roof box, made of matt black ABS plastic, with a volume of 400 litres and a maximum load capacity of 50 kg. The roof box weighs 13.2 kg, has a lock and opens on one side.
The package includes two fittings: a 60 mm U-bolt that clamps the bar on the outside, and a 20 mm T-track fitting that slides into the T-track of the bars. An 80 mm U-bolt fitting is available as an option, with the code 000065000000. The product page lists compatibility with Menabo Tiger, Leopard, Delta, Omega and Tema bars, with K39 bars and with Thule models such as the Wingbar and Squarebar.
