The second-generation Toyota Auris, with the code E180, was produced from August 2012 to December 2018. The model was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 2012, and sales in Europe began in early 2013. The generation had both a 5-door hatchback and a 5-door estate version called Touring Sports, also presented in Paris in 2012. The hatchback was 4,275 mm long from 2012 to 2015 and 4,330 mm from 2015 to 2018. From the next generation, E210, the Auris name was dropped.
