We fitted Menabo Delta Silver roof bars and a 400 L Menabo Marathon Dark roof box on a Toyota Corolla E210 Saloon. We did the fitting in the SuportBicicleta.ro showroom at Drumul Lunca Corbului 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania.

About the car: Toyota Corolla E210 Saloon
The Toyota Corolla E210 is the twelfth generation of the model, a C-segment compact built on the TNGA GA-C platform shared with the Prius 4 and C-HR. The 4-door saloon has been built since January 2019 in Sakarya, Turkey, and marked the return of the classic four-door Corolla to Europe after the E120 generation. The facelift, which also includes the saloon, has been on sale since the first quarter of 2023.
A roof box sits on roof bars, and this saloon has no roof rails to fix the bars to. The solution is a body-mounted set with feet on the door frames and a dedicated kit for the Corolla E210 Saloon. For a loaded roof box it matters that the roof bars are tightened properly and that the roof box fitting is positioned correctly on the bars.
What we fitted on this Corolla
The base is the set of Menabo Delta Silver roof bars for Toyota Corolla (E210) Saloon, made of aluminium, with 1,190 mm bars, 4 fixings for the Corolla, 4 feet, 4 locks with keys and an Allen key. The roof bars have a 20 mm T-track and also accept U-bolt fitting on the outside.
On top of them we fitted the Menabo Marathon Dark 400 roof box, made of matt black ABS plastic, with a volume of 400 L and a maximum load of 50 kg. The roof box comes with a 60 mm U-bolt fitting and a 20 mm T-track fitting in the package, has a lock and opens from the side. The product sheet lists it as compatible with Menabo Delta roof bars.

Technical details and what to watch for
- Menabo Delta Silver for Corolla E210 Saloon: aluminium, 1,190 x 60 x 30 mm bar, weight 5.2 kg according to the product sheet, maximum load 50 kg, lock, TÜV and ISO.
- Menabo Marathon Dark 400: 400 L, maximum load 50 kg, roof box weight 13.2 kg, matt black ABS, lock.
- Load calculation: the Delta roof bars carry 50 kg and the roof box weighs 13.2 kg, so at most 36.8 kg of luggage is left for the box, if the Toyota manual also allows this roof load.
- The Delta roof bars have a 20 mm T-track, and the Marathon comes with the 20 mm T-track fitting included; an optional 80 mm U-bolt fitting is also available separately, item 000065000000.

- With the roof box on the roof, the height of the Corolla increases, so check the clearance at garage entrances and underground car parks.
