About the car: Toyota RAV4, 5th generation (XA50)
The Toyota RAV4 XA50 was built from November 2018 to December 2025 and launched in Europe in early 2019. It is a 5-door SUV and the first Toyota SUV on the TNGA (GA-K) platform. From September 2021, for the 2022 model year, it has new LED projector headlights, and in 2025 its successor, the RAV4 XA60, made its debut. According to the 2022 Toyota UK data sheet, the hybrid version tows 750 kg unbraked and 800 kg (FWD) or 1,650 kg (AWD-i) braked.
The roof bars for this model are not universal. The Menabo Dedicate OE set attaches to the fixed-point mounting system on the RAV4's roof, with 4 dedicated fitting kits, and the fixed, secure mounting prevents the roof bars and the luggage from moving or shifting in traffic.
What we fitted on this RAV4
The fitted set consists of black aluminium Menabo Dedicate OE roof bars for the Toyota RAV4 (XA50), 2018+. In the box you will find 2 aluminium roof bars of 1,130 mm, 4 dedicated fitting kits and the Allen key, the only tool you need.
The oval profile of 80 x 30 mm is aerodynamic, so it reduces noise and drag. A 20 mm T-track runs along the whole length of the roof bars, and takes accessories such as roof boxes, bike racks, ski racks or kayak carriers. The roof bars have a lock, carry 75 kg and are TÜV tested, with ISO/PAS 11154:2006 and DIN 75302 approvals.
We fitted only the roof bars, and they can be used at any time as a base for whatever accessories you need each season.

- Bar length 1,130 mm, height 30 mm, width 80 mm, set weight 4 kg, material aluminium.
- The maximum load of 75 kg includes the weight of the accessory: for example, a 20 kg accessory leaves about 55 kg for the load.
