Toyota RAV 4 XA50 with Menabo Dedicate OE roof bars: quick fitting with an Allen key

On a Toyota RAV 4 XA50 we fitted Menabo Dedicate OE roof bars for the 2018+ model, which tighten onto the roof rails with a single Allen key. We did the fitting in our shop at Drumul Lunca Corbului 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania.

About the car: Toyota RAV 4 fifth generation (XA50)

The XA50 generation of the Toyota RAV 4 was built between November 2018 and December 2025 as a 5-door SUV on the GA-K platform. In September 2021 Toyota presented the facelift for the 2022 model year, with new LED headlights; both the original and the updated version remain XA50 and use the same dedicated bars.

What matters for fitting is the roof: the RAV 4 XA50 is sold with low flush roof rails, or without them. In Europe, the Active trim has them as standard. The car in this fitting had them, and the Menabo Dedicate OE set fixes directly onto them, with vehicle-specific feet.

Fitting is quick, using only the Allen key from the package, and the fixed attachment stops the bars and the luggage from moving or rattling in traffic.
