The Volkswagen T-Cross is a 5-door SUV of generation 1, with model code C11. Production began in December 2018 and continues, and the official launch was in April 2019. The model is based on the MQB A0 platform, shared with the Polo Mk6, and received a facelift in 2023. For Europe it is built at the Volkswagen Navarra plant in Pamplona, Spain.

What we fitted on this T-Cross
We fitted the the Carbon Look 320L roof box, matt black, with a volume of 320 litres. It opens on one side and has an 80 mm U-bolt fitting, which suits the roof bars of the car.
The box is lockable and is compatible with Menabo Tema, Delta, Brio, Sherman, Raven and Jackson bars, with K39 bars, with Thule SquareBar, Wingbar, Probar and Slidebar, with Yakima ThruBar and FlushBar, and with Mont Blanc Xplore. Technical details and what to watch for
- Weight and load: the box carries 55 kg of luggage. The weight of the box is deducted from the capacity of the roof bars, and you will find the maximum permitted roof load of the car in the car's manual.
- Dimensions: the box is 131 cm long and 34 cm high. After fitting, the height of the car increases by the height of the box and the bars, so check before car parks with barriers or garage entrances.
- Fitting: you will find the fitting instructions below, in PDF.
- Before fitting: check that the roof bars are fixed firmly, then place the box centrally and tighten the fittings until it no longer moves.
- Opening and lock: the box opens on one side and has a lock.
