We fitted a set of Menabo Professional roof bars on a Volkswagen T5 Transporter in the SuportBicicleta.ro showroom at Drumul Lunca Corbului 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania.

About the car: Volkswagen T5 Transporter (T5 generation)

The Volkswagen T5 Transporter belongs to the T5 generation, produced from 2003 to 2015. It was launched on 6 October 2002, and series production began on 25 April 2003. The range includes versions with a short wheelbase of 3,000 mm or a long one of 3,400 mm, with three roof heights: low, medium and high. The model fitted here, 2003-2008, is the version before the September 2009 facelift.

On the van in the post, the roof is ribbed and has no roof rails, so the Menabo Professional feet are bolted to the edge of the roof. The bars have a 40 x 40 mm section and are made of aluminium, and the fixing components have an anti-corrosion coating, for protection against damp and against low and high temperatures. They are designed for carrying heavy equipment.
