About the car: Volvo XC70, 2007-2016
The V70 XC name became XC70 from model year 2003, and Volvo produced the model until 13 May 2016. In 2012 it received a minor facelift.
The roof rails of the XC70 were optional, black only, with the XC lettering. The car in our fitting has raised roof rails, and the roof bars attach to them, not directly to the roof. The Menabo box sits on the roof bars, so before you order, check whether your car has roof rails.
What we fitted on this Volvo XC70
The Menabo Mania 460 ABS Black has 460 litres, ABS plastic and a gloss black finish. It opens on one side, and the lock protects your luggage when you park.

Technical details and what to watch for
- The volume of the box is 460 litres, made of gloss black ABS plastic.
- The maximum load is 75 kg, and the empty box weighs 20.2 kg.
- The fitting includes a 60 mm U-bolt and a 20 mm T-bolt; the 80 mm U-bolt fitting is optional.
- The box opens on one side and has a lock.
- The box adds height to the car, on top of the height of the roof bars. Check the total height before car parks with a height barrier or garages.
