Thule Outset is a car tent that mounts on the towbar. The raised platform keeps you clear of mud, insects and uneven ground, and the design allows quick fitting from ground level.

It has room for 3 people, panoramic views and an interior where you can sit comfortably with friends or family. The low height makes access easy for everyone, including children, older people and pets.

Fitted by one person

The wheels let you move the tent to the car on your own, and the intuitive fitting system attaches it to the towbar with ease. The tent is ready in a few minutes: take off the travel cover, attach the base and unfold it.

Detach it when you need the car

Once you have set up camp, you can detach the tent from the car and go on a day trip. The tent locks to the car, or can be locked separately when it is not attached.

Free roof space, low fuel use

The position behind the car leaves the roof free for other equipment, and the aerodynamic placement has little or no effect on fuel consumption or battery range. The tent tilts, so you still have access to the boot.

Comfort

The 7 cm mattress stays in the tent when you fold it away, the rain cover protects you from the weather, and the large doors and windows give ventilation and views. They can be partly rolled up for privacy.
