Description
Thule OutWay Platform 2 tailgate bike rack
The Thule OutWay Platform 2 fits quickly and easily on your car's tailgate or boot lid in just a few simple steps, and carries two bikes wherever you are headed.
The OutWay Platform 2 is lockable too, with locks for both the rack itself and each bike you carry.
Practical and secure for your bikes
The Thule OutWay Platform 2 is officially approved, and its contact surfaces are rubberised and coated in rubberised paint, so they will not damage or scratch your car.
Thule OutWay Platform 2 bike rack features
- Steel cables hold the rack securely on the car.
- Quick, easy fitting thanks to a simple user interface and an intuitive torque-limiting system.
- Rubber support pads and double mounting hooks hold the rack firmly on the car and help prevent paint scratches.
- The raised mounting position keeps the rear lights and number plate visible.
- Detachable frame holders clamp the bike frame quickly. Their Thule AcuTight knobs have a built-in torque limiter that clicks when the correct torque is reached.
- The extra-long wheel trays also take very large bikes, with a wheelbase of up to 127 cm (50").
- Adjustable buckles and extra-long wheel straps make the wheels easy to secure.
- Key locks secure both the rack to the car and the bikes to the rack.
- Folds completely for easy fitting, handling and storage.
- The rack comes pre-assembled, so no extra tools are needed to fit it.
- Once the bikes are off, you can open the boot with the rack still fitted.
- This bike rack is not a universal fit. To check whether it fits your car, just ask our team.
