The Thule SlideBar Raised roof bar system is the ultimate solution for SUVs and 4x4s with raised roof rails, and winner of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. Two-way sliding technology solves the problem of reaching the high roof of large vehicles.
Two-way sliding of ±60 cm turns loading at a roof height of 180-220 cm into an easy job at waist height, with no ladder and no climbing on the vehicle. Professional rubber grip panels allow safe one-handed operation, even in the wet, rain or snow. The snap-lock gives a distinct audible click to confirm the bar is 100% secure before you set off.
Unique advantages for tall vehicles: load bikes onto an SUV without a step stool, fit an XXL roof box on a 4x4 in complete safety, ideal for users over 60 (no climbing, so less risk of a fall), and carry a kayak on a tall commercial vehicle (no more lifting 25 kg above your head).
