Thule SlideBar Raised roof bars for Saab 9-3 X 2009-2013
The Thule SlideBar Raised roof bar system is designed for SUVs and 4x4s with raised roof rails, and won the Red Dot Design Award. The bars slide out in both directions, so you can reach the roof of a tall vehicle more easily.
Two-way sliding of 60 cm to either side makes it easier to load a roof 180-220 cm high without a ladder or climbing onto the vehicle. Rubber grip panels allow one-handed operation, including in wet conditions, rain or snow. The snap-lock gives a distinct audible click to confirm the bars are locked before you drive off.
Why it helps on tall vehicles: you can load bikes onto an SUV without a step stool, fit an XXL roof box on a 4x4 safely and load a kayak onto a tall commercial vehicle without lifting 25 kg above your head. It reduces the risk of a fall for users over 60. A technical rubber anti-vibration pad protects the raised rails from scratches and holds the bars firmly in place. The full-length T-track takes Thule T-track accessories.
Scandinavian design focused on ergonomics and safety. Tested by Thule and covered by the Thule manufacturer's guarantee. Maximum load: 90 kg.
