About the car: BMW 5 Series G30 saloon (2016-2023)
The BMW 5 Series G30 is a 4-door saloon built from November 2016 to 2023 on BMW's modular CLAR platform. The estate version of the same generation has the code G31 (Touring), the facelift was presented on 27 May 2020, and the model that replaced the G30 in 2023 is the G60. The car in our fitting has the pre-facelift front end and the saloon boot lid.

What we fitted on this BMW 5 Series
Menabo Delta Black roof bars are made of black aluminium with an aerodynamic design, and measure 1,370 mm long, 60 mm wide and 30 mm high. On top there is a 20 mm channel, where accessories fix with T-track fittings. If your accessory has no T-track fitting, you can also fix it with standard U-bolt clamps around the outside of the bar.
On the Delta bars you can fit bike racks, roof boxes, ski and snowboard racks or a kayak & canoe roof rack. The set contains 4 fixings, 4 feet, 2 aluminium bars, 4 locks with keys and an Allen key, and no other tool is needed. The bars are TÜV and ISO approved.

Technical details and what to watch for
- Dimensions: length 1,370 mm, width 60 mm, height 30 mm; the set weighs 5.6 kg.
- Load: Menabo Delta Black bars carry a maximum of 50 kg. The weight of the fitted accessory is subtracted from this figure, and the 5.6 kg of the bars counts towards the maximum roof load in the BMW manual.
- Fixing accessories: with T-track fittings in the 20 mm channel, or with U-bolt clamps on the outside of the bar for accessories without a T-track fitting.
- Speed: Menabo recommends that you do not exceed 130 km/h with the bars fitted on the car.
- With an accessory on the bars, the BMW becomes taller; check the height before underground car parks or car washes.
- The instruction manual is included in the box.
