The BMW X4 F26 is the first generation of the X4, with the code F26. It was built from July 2014 to March 2018 as a 5-door SUV coupe, mainly in the USA, at the Spartanburg plant.

The bars are made of steel with an oval, aerodynamic profile, and the metal parts are treated with rubberised paint and an anti-corrosion coating. The set includes 2 roof bars, 4 fixings, 4 feet, 4 locks with keys and an Allen key, so you do not need any other tool.

Specifications and fitting

• Bar dimensions: 1,300 mm long, 48 mm wide and 30 mm high. Material: steel.
• The set carries 50 kg, and the weight of the set is 5.8 kg.
• Subtract the weight of the rack and accessories from the 50 kg first; what is left is for the bikes.
• The bars have no T-track on top, so the rack fixes with the classic U-bolt fitting around the outside of the bar.
• The maximum load can differ depending on the make and model of the car. Also check the technical specifications given by the car maker.
