About the car: Dacia Logan MCV II, estate 2013-2020

Dacia presented the Logan MCV II at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as the 5-door estate of the second-generation Logan (L52/K52), built on the Dacia M0 platform and produced from 2012 to 2020. With this generation, MCV came to stand for Maximum Capacity Vehicle. The facelift of the generation was presented in Paris in 2016.

The raised roof rails make the fitting simple: the Brio roof bars attach directly to them, with no special fixing points. For a 460-litre box, the bars must be tightened correctly, because they take the whole weight. We do not have the maximum roof load of the Logan MCV II from an official Dacia source, so we recommend checking it in the manual.

What we fitted on this Logan MCV

Menabo Brio roof bars for the Dacia Logan MCV 2013+ are made of aluminium, with an aerodynamic profile that helps reduce noise and drag. They are 1,200 mm long, 28 mm high and 48 mm wide, with a full-length 14 mm channel and a lock. The declared maximum load is 90 kg, with TÜV and ISO/PAS 11154:2006 tests and DIN 75302 conformity.

The Menabo Marathon Dark 460 has a volume of 460 litres, is made of matt black ABS plastic, has a lock and opens on the right side. The package contains two types of fitting, a 60 mm U-bolt and a 20 mm T-bolt. On the Brio bars, whose channel is 14 mm, you use the U-bolt fitting around the outside of the bar, as the bar data sheet indicates for accessories without a 14 mm T-bolt.

Technical details and what to watch for

The Brio bars carry a maximum of 90 kg; the weight of the Marathon box is deducted from this first, and the rest is left for luggage. For the exact capacity and weight of the Marathon Dark 460 box, ask us before you buy.
Brio comes with 2 bars, 4 pre-assembled feet and an Allen key; no other tool is needed. The fitting instructions for the bars are included in the box.

With a 460-litre box on the roof, the car is visibly taller; check the total height before underground car parks.
