About the car: Dacia Sandero I (B90)

The first-generation Dacia Sandero has the internal code B90 and is built on the Dacia B0 platform. It was launched in Europe as a Dacia model at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2008 and was built in Romania from 2008 to 2012, as a 5-door hatchback.

The Sandero in this fitting has no roof rails, so the roof bars have nothing to attach to on top of the roof. The solution is a body-mounted set with feet and a kit made for the model, which fixes in the area of the doors. The bars have an oval aerodynamic profile and are made of steel, 1,120 mm long, 30 mm high and 48 mm wide. The metal parts have a rubberised anti-corrosion coating, and the bars are wrapped in a protective plastic layer.

The set contains 2 steel bars, 4 feet, 4 fitting kits for the Sandero 5-door 2008-2012, 4 locks with keys and an Allen key, with no other tool needed. The maximum load is 50 kg, and the bars are TÜV and ISO certified. • Example: the Thule FreeRide 532 bike rack (3.5 kg, compatible with the Menabo Tema roof bars) with a 17 kg bike puts 20.5 kg on the bars out of the 50 kg. The maximum roof load in the Sandero I manual may be lower, so check your car's handbook as well.
• The bars have no T-track, so when choosing a roof box or a rack, check that it has a U-bolt fitting on the outside of the bar.
• The instruction manual is included in the pack, and the bars are tightened with the Allen key from the set.
