About the car: Ford Mondeo IV 4-door saloon (CD391)

The Ford Mondeo IV, internal code CD391, is built on a new iteration of the Ford C/D platform and is the market version of the US Fusion. The 4-door saloon appeared in Europe in October 2014. The generation received a facelift presented on 18 January 2019, and production in Europe ended on 30 March 2022.

The saloon of this generation has no factory-fitted roof rails on the roof. The Tema roof bars are designed for cars without factory-fitted roof rails, and the product description shows that they fit directly onto the bodywork, with fitting kits made for the car.

What we fitted on this Ford Mondeo IV 4-door

We fitted the Menabo Tema Aluminium roof bars for Ford Mondeo IV, 4-door, 2014+ model. The bars have an oval, aerodynamic profile to reduce air resistance while driving, and the metal parts are treated with rubberised paint and an anti-corrosion coating. They are 1,300 mm long, 30 mm high and 48 mm wide, with a 20 mm T-track on top.

The set includes 2 aluminium bars, 4 feet, 4 fixings, 4 locks with keys and an Allen key. Bike racks, roof boxes, ski racks or kayak & canoe carriers can be fitted on the bars. If the accessory has no T fitting, a U-bolt fitting around the outside of the bar can be used.

• Bar length 1,300 mm, height 30 mm, width 48 mm, material: aluminium, colour: silver.
• Maximum load 50 kg, TÜV and ISO approved bars.
• 20 mm T-track on top for T fixing. U-bolt fixing around the outside of the bar remains possible.
• The set has 4 locks with keys, 4 feet and an Allen key.
• The set weighs 5.2 kg. The weight of the accessory fitted on the bars is deducted from the bars' 50 kg.
