The 5th-generation Hyundai Elantra has the internal code MD for the saloon version and was built between 2010 and 2015. The car made its debut at the Busan Motor Show in April 2010, on the Hyundai-Kia J5 platform. In 2013, for model year 2014, the saloon received changes at the front and rear, including smoked rear lights and L-shaped projector headlight housings.

The 4-door saloon body means the Mistral is fitted to the boot lid or tailgate of the car, not to the roof. The rack is strapped to the boot lid, as the fitting photo also shows, and for a tailgate-mounted rack it is the shape of the saloon that matters.

The Mistral is certified and ISO tested and has a maximum load of 45 kg. The rack has no lock, either for itself or for the bikes, so keep that in mind when you stop on the road.
