About the car: third-generation Mazda 3 (BM)
The third-generation Mazda 3 carries the codes BM and BN and was built from June 2013 to 2018, for the 2014-2018 model years. It moved to the Skyactiv chassis, dropping the Ford C1 platform of the earlier generations. In August 2016 it received a facelift, coded BN, which brought a new front end. The model was offered as a saloon, 4,580 mm long, and as a hatchback, 4,460 mm long.
The car in the fitting is a blue 4-door BM saloon with a roof without roof rails. On this type of roof the roof bars are fitted onto the body, with the feet clamped to the door frames. The fitting kit depends on the body type, so tell us when you order whether you have a saloon or a hatchback.
What we fitted on this Mazda 3 BM
We fitted the the Menabo Tema aluminium roof bars for the Mazda 3 (BM), 2013-2018 models. The roof bars have an oval, aerodynamic profile, are 1,300 mm long, 30 mm high and 48 mm wide, and the metal parts are finished with a rubberised anti-corrosion coating. The set weighs 5.2 kg, carries a maximum of 50 kg and is TÜV and ISO approved.
The 20 mm T-track on top of the bar takes accessories with T-bolt fittings, and those without T-bolts attach with U-bolts around the outside. You can fit bike racks, roof boxes, ski racks or kayak racks on the Tema roof bars. The package includes 4 vehicle-specific fitting kits for the Mazda 3 BM, 4 feet, 2 aluminium bars, 4 locks with keys and the Allen key needed for fitting.
