The Menabo Steel Bike 3 and Logic 2 racks fit on the rear tailgate or boot lid of the car, with no roof bars on the roof. The Steel Bike 3 is held by straps at 6 points, and the Logic 2 is held by clamps at 4 points. The contact with the bodywork is rubber. Compatibility depends on your car model, so check the Menabo applicability list before ordering.

On a tailgate, the condition of the edge and of the contact surface matters. The tailgate must be cleaned before fitting. Menabo says the Steel Bike 3 is designed not to block your view through the rear window, but after fitting also check that the tail lights and the number plate stay visible.
