Menabo Tema roof bars on Opel Crossland X 2017-2020, fitted in our shop

On an Opel Crossland X we fitted a pair of Menabo Tema roof bars, in our SuportBicicleta.ro shop in Drumul Lunca Corbului 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania.

About the car: Opel Crossland X (2017-2020)

Opel sold the Crossland between 2017 and 2024, as a 5-door SUV in the subcompact crossover segment. The 2017-2020 version was called the Crossland X; after the 2020 facelift the model was renamed the Opel Crossland, without the X. The platform is a modified version of the PF1, shared with the Citroen C3 Aircross and Peugeot 2008.

The type of bars depends on the roof of the car. The Tema set is designed for cars without factory roof rails, so it fits directly on the roof. Silver roof rails are an equipment feature of the top version, and for a car with that roof you must first check which system fits. The Opel manual for the Crossland X gives a maximum roof load of 60 kg, including the weight of the roof carrier.

What we fitted on this Crossland X

The Menabo Tema Aluminium for Opel Crossland X, 5-door, 2017-2020 are 1,300 mm long, 30 mm high and 48 mm wide. The profile is oval and aerodynamic, and the top has a 20 mm T-track for accessories with a T-bolt fitting.

Accessories without a T-bolt fitting are fixed with U-bolts that go around the outside of the roof bar. The set includes 2 bars, 4 feet, 4 fitting kits, 4 locks with keys and the Allen key, so fitting needs no other tools. The maximum load is 50 kg, and the bars are TÜV and ISO approved.
