Skoda Scala first generation: Menabo Delta Silver roof bars for a bare roof

On a Skoda Scala we fitted a set of Menabo Delta Silver roof bars in the SuportBicicleta.ro showroom at Drumul Lunca Corbului 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania. The Scala has no factory roof rails, so the roof bars need vehicle-specific fitting kits on the body.

About the car: Skoda Scala generation 1

The Skoda Scala is a compact 5-door hatchback, built on a stretched version of the MQB A0 platform. Sales began in May 2019, after production had started in February. A facelift was presented in August 2023, together with the Kamiq.

Because the Scala has no factory roof rails, a set of roof bars has to clamp onto the body, via the door frames. The original Skoda roof bars for this model attach to the side panels and are also compatible with the panoramic roof. That is why vehicle-specific roof bars such as the Delta Silver come with fitting kits designed specially for the Scala.

The set is Menabo Delta Silver for the Skoda Scala, 5-door, 2019+ models, with two aluminium bars 1,370 mm long and 60 mm wide, 4 feet, 4 fitting kits and 4 lock cylinders, with key. The roof bars have an improved aerodynamic design and a 20 mm T-track on top.

On the Delta Silver roof bars you can fit bike racks, roof boxes, ski & snowboard racks or kayak & canoe roof racks. Accessories with T fitting fix directly in the T-track, and those without T can use U-bolt fitting around the bar.

• The Delta Silver roof bars are TÜV and ISO certified, and the set includes lock cylinders with keys.

• The height of the car increases with the roof bars and the accessories fitted on them. Check before you enter a garage or a car park with a barrier.
• The instruction manual is included in the box. Fit them with the Allen key in the set, with no other tools.
