On a Skoda Superb II (3T) saloon, 2008-2013, we fitted Menabo Delta Silver roof bars attached to the bodywork, with a Fabbri Nova 310 roof box on top. Everything was done in our shop at Drumul Lunca Corbului 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania.

About the car: Skoda Superb II (3T), 2008-2013
The second-generation Skoda Superb (B6, code 3T) debuted at Geneva in March 2008 and was built until 2015, on the Volkswagen Group A6 (PQ46) platform, a lengthened derivative of the Octavia platform. The base body is a 4-door saloon with a TwinDoor tailgate; the Combi estate arrived in June 2009, and the facelift was unveiled in April 2013. The bars in this fitting are made for the 4-door Superb 3T, 2008-2013 series.
The Superb II saloon has no roof rails, so the roof bars fix into the gap between the door and the roof. This is the same principle used by the original Skoda roof bars for this model. That is why the dedicated kit for the 4-door Superb 3T matters: the bars attach directly to the bodywork, and a box 126 cm long then goes on top.
What we fitted on this Superb
Menabo Delta Silver roof bars for the Skoda Superb (3T), 4-door, 2008-2013 are designed for cars without factory roof rails and attach directly to the bodywork. The set contains 4 fixing systems for the Superb 3T, 4 feet, 2 aluminium bars, 4 anti-theft locks with keys and an Allen key, the only tool needed. Each bar is 1,370 mm long, 60 mm wide and 30 mm high, with a 20 mm channel on the top for accessories with T-track fixing. The maximum load is 50 kg, and the roof bars are TÜV and ISO approved.
On the roof bars we placed Fabbri Nova 310 Grey roof box, 126x78x35 cm. It holds 310 litres, carries a maximum of 50 kg, is made of ABS plastic, opens on the right and has a lock. It attaches with the 80 mm U-bolt system included in the pack and is compatible with Menabo Delta roof bars without an adapter. The box weighs 7.4 kg and is TÜV and City Crash tested.

Technical details and what to watch for
- Real capacity of the assembly: the Menabo Delta Silver bars carry 50 kg and the Fabbri Nova 310 weighs 7.4 kg, so you can put at most 42.6 kg in the box, even though the box on its own is rated for 50 kg.
- The maximum load can also depend on the car: check the roof load in your Superb's handbook and respect the lower value.
- Fabbri Nova 310 dimensions: 126 cm long, 78 cm wide, 35 cm high; the height of the bars and feet is added to these, so watch out for garages and underground car parks.
- The box opens on the right, that is, towards the pavement when you park on the right-hand side of the road.
