On a 5-door Suzuki Swift V, 2013-2017 model, we fitted a set of Menabo Tema Steel roof bars in the SuportBicicleta.ro shop in Drumul Lunca Corbului 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania.

About the car: Suzuki Swift AZG (Swift V), 2010-2017

The Suzuki Swift AZG, sold in Romania as the Swift V, was produced from June 2010 to April 2017. Production for Europe at the plant in Hungary began on 11 June 2010. In July 2013 the model received a facelift, with a revised front bumper and L-shaped LED daytime running lights. The car in this post has 5 doors, and the AZG generation was also available as a 3-door hatchback.

The car's roof is normal, without roof rails. The fitting photo shows that the roof bars are attached on feet, clamped into the door frame. The Menabo Tema set includes a fitting kit, because the roof bars fit directly onto the body, with no factory rails. The Tema roof bars have an oval, aerodynamic profile, and accessories attach to them with U-bolts.

What we fitted on this Suzuki Swift V

We fitted the the set of Menabo Tema Steel roof bars for the Suzuki Swift V, 5-door, 2013-2017 model. The roof bars have an oval, aerodynamic profile, with a length of 1,120 mm, a height of 30 mm and a width of 48 mm. The metal parts have rubberised, anti-corrosion paint, and the bars are wrapped in a protective plastic layer.

The set contains 2 bars, 4 clamps, 4 feet, 4 lock cylinders with keys and an Allen key, so you need no other tool. The Tema has no T-track on top of the bar, so accessories attach with the standard U-bolt fitting around the outside of the bar. You can fit a bike rack, roof box, ski rack or kayak & canoe rack on the roof bars.
