On this first-generation Toyota C-HR (AX10/AX50) we fitted a set of roof bars Menabo Tema Aluminium and, on top of them, a Menabo Mania roof box. We did the fitting in the SuportBicicleta.ro showroom, which you can now find on Drumul Lunca Corbului 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania.

About the car: Toyota C-HR first generation (AX10/AX50, 2016-2023)
The first-generation Toyota C-HR carries the internal codes AX10 and AX50 and was produced from November 2016 to September 2023, at first in Japan and in Turkey. It is a 5-door SUV built on the TNGA GA-C platform, with coupe lines and rear door handles hidden in the rear pillars. The facelift of October 2019 belongs to the same generation.
The C-HR in this post has a roof without roof rails, and the feet of the Menabo roof bars are fixed on the door frame. That is why a set for roof rails is not used, but a kit made for the 5-door C-HR from 2016 onwards, with fittings made for this model.
What we fitted on this Toyota C-HR
The base of the setup is the roof bars Menabo Tema Aluminium roof bars for the Toyota C-HR, 5-door, 2016+ model. They have an oval, aerodynamic profile, 1,300 mm long, 30 mm high and 48 mm wide, and the metal components have a rubberised anti-corrosion coating. In the box you find 4 fittings for the C-HR, 4 feet, 2 aluminium bars, 4 lock cylinders with keys and the Allen key, the only tool you need. The set is TÜV and ISO tested.
On top, the Tema roof bars have a 20 mm T-track in which accessories are attached with a T fitting, while accessories without a T fitting can be fixed with a U-bolt fitting around the outside of the bar.
