Menabo Dedicate OE roof bars on a Toyota RAV 4 XA50: locks, TÜV and DIN approvals

On a Toyota RAV 4 of the XA50 generation we fitted a set of Menabo Dedicate OE roof bars with locks, made for the 2018+ model. The fitting took place in the SuportBicicleta.ro showroom at Drumul Lunca Corbului 2, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania.

About the car: Toyota RAV 4 XA50 (fifth generation)

The Toyota RAV 4 XA50 is the fifth generation of the SUV, presented in March 2018 in New York and produced from November 2018 to December 2025. The GA-K platform debuted on a Toyota SUV with this model, and the body has 5 doors. The facelift of September 2021 (model year 2022) kept the XA50 generation.

On the roof of the RAV 4 XA50 there can be low roof rails, close to the body, or none at all. The car in this fitting had the low rails, and that makes possible a dedicated set that tightens directly onto them. The fixed fitting system of the set prevents the bars, and therefore the luggage, from moving or rattling in traffic.
