The sixth-generation Volkswagen Polo has the model code AW1 (BZ1 and AE1 also appear) and is based on the MQB A0 platform of the Volkswagen Group. We fitted the the Menabo Tema Steel roof bars for the Volkswagen Polo VI (AW), 5-door, 2017+ model. They are steel bars with an oval profile, 1,300 mm long, 30 mm high and 48 mm wide, covered in a protective plastic coating. The metal parts are treated with rubberised paint and an anti-corrosion coating, and the set is TÜV and ISO approved.
The package contains 4 fitting kits for the Polo VI (AW), 4 feet, the 2 steel bars, 4 lock cylinders with keys and an Allen key. The Tema bars have no channel on top, so accessories attach with the classic U-bolt fitting around the outside of the bar: bike rack, roof box, ski rack or kayak and canoe rack.

Technical details and what to watch for
