About roof bars

The roof bars are the link between the rack, the bike and the car, so they must be fitted correctly, following their instructions. Before you buy a rack, check that its fitting type matches the profile of your bars, because otherwise the rack may not be held securely.

The models in our range

Menabo Pro Tour bike rack has a fork mount and a 20 mm T-track fitting, is fitted without special tools and has a lock for both the rack and the bike. For the fork mount you use an adapter, bought separately and chosen according to the axle of the bike, and the model can also be used for fat bikes. It is TÜV tested, weighs 2.8 kg and carries 15 kg.

Menabo Juza bike rack has a 20 mm T-track fitting, a lock for both the rack and the bike and a frame clamp for frames up to 60 mm wide; it holds the frame and the wheels and carries 15 kg. For the Menabo Juza Twin Pack, the version with two racks, you can carry two bikes, with the same 15 kg capacity.

Yakima HighRoad Black bike rack attaches to the wheel of the bike, not to the frame, and has a U-bolt fitting on the bar. It carries 20 kg, for wheels from 26 to 29 inch and tyres from 23 mm to 4 inch. It is not recommended for square bars wider than 38 mm. Mont Blanc Sprint Left has the arm on the left, a 20 mm T-track fitting and a lock, and is for universal frames.

Technical details and what to watch for

The 20 mm T-track fitting is found on the Pro Tour, Juza, Juza Twin Pack and Mont Blanc Sprint Left; the Yakima HighRoad Black has a U-bolt fitting.
The 15 kg capacity applies to the Pro Tour, Juza and Juza Twin Pack, while the Yakima HighRoad Black carries 20 kg.
Product weights: Pro Tour 2.8 kg, Juza 3.4 kg, Yakima HighRoad Black 8.2 kg and Mont Blanc Sprint Left 4 kg.
Menabo recommends not exceeding 130 km/h with the bars fitted, and whistling while driving appears mainly when accessories are attached to the bars. Details in the guide to roof bar noise.
The Juza takes frames up to 60 mm wide; check the frame of your bike before ordering.
