Description

Towbar wiring kit with CAN-bus module and 13-pin socket, featuring rear fog light cut-off and parking sensor shut-off. Ideal for caravans and car transporter trailers. Not recommended for caravans with an on-board battery, as there is no permanent live at the towbar socket. This wiring kit is recommended for vehicles with a bulb failure warning system (Check Control: a blown-bulb warning light on the dashboard), LED or bulb rear lights, and conventional (analogue) or multi-function lighting circuits (tail and brake lights on the same wire / tail and fog lights on the same wire). Main functions: Parking sensor shut-off – if your car has parking sensors, the sensors in the rear bumper are switched off as soon as the trailer is plugged into the towbar socket, so they will not bother you. The parking sensor shut-off does not work on every type of car. If you have any questions, please get in touch. Left rear fog light shut-off – when you switch the fog light on, it works only on the trailer, not on the car. This stops the red light reflecting in the car's rear-view mirror, which can be distracting. Trailer connection test – the module detects the trailer and then connects the car's lights to each matching bulb on the trailer.
